UNION SOLDIERS - BATTLE OF BULL RUN - 1871
dated stereo of the grave of those unknown Union
soldiers from the battlefield of Bull Run. Monument was
erected in 1866. Very good condition.

ALBUMEN - POST WAR CELEBRATION AT FORT
SUMPTER - C-1880's mounted photo of a celebration at
the fort. The name of the fort and Maj. Anderson can be
seen in the rear. The military band is dressed in M-1881
US helmets making this perhaps the 25th anniversary of
the attack on the fort. Mount is 8" x 10" has some chips
out of edges and is stained as can be seen in photos.
Contrast is light . . . but it is what it is.

CDV - 12TH IOWA INFANTRY - CASUALTY - Period ink signed
CDV of Ralph M. Grimes - Co. H - 12th Iowa Infantry. Grimes
mustered in Oct., 1861 and mustered out in Nov., 1865. During that
time he was promoted to Sgt. and is listed as being missing in action
at Shiloh (4/6/62) and wounded in action at Tupelo, Mississippi
(7/14/64) with a severe arm wound. This is a late War photo as there
is evidence of a tax stamp and his ID on reverse listing the regiment
as a Veteran Volunteer Infantry. Very good condition.

PATRIOTIC UNION CASE - "THE LIBERTY CAP, FLAGS AND
SHIELD" - Case is in very good condition with just several very
minor chips on edge. Manufacturers label of S. Peck & Co. inside.
Tintype of young seated soldier in frock coat. With a glass on the
image it looks as though someone tried to clean the image which
caused some fine lines across face. Hinges are a bit loose. 1/9 plate
case. #Kr372

CDV - 113TH ILLINOIS INFANTRY - Nicely ID'd image in ink of
Sgt.-Major Samuel A. Willsen (misspelled Wilson in records) wearing
a military vest, trousers and sack coat. Enlisted in Nov., 1863 -
discharge date not known. What is known is the fact he was reduced
in rank to Private on June 1, 1865. Missing the tax revenue stamp
but evidence of stamp glue is present. Condition is good but showing
some wear.

TINTYPE - UNION SOLDIER - 1/6 Plate tintype with soldier wearing 9
button jacket (can barely make out eagle buttons with a glass) and
wearing kepi. Clear image with just a tint of red on his cheeks. Some
scratching on tin surface from oval mat. Good Condition.

CDV - 1ST NEW YORK ENGINEERS - SURGEON - Major Aaron P.
Dalyrymple (some books have it spelled Dalrymple) Age 36 Signed lightly
in period pencil on reverse. Photographer: Jordan & Co. (Late Bogardus -
NYC) Mustered in as Surgeon Sept., 1861 , resigned Mar., 1862 ,
commissioned Surgeon, Major U.S.A. , June, 1862 , mustered out Feb.,
1866. CDV is in very good condition with only real flaw being a crease in
the mount that does not come through in the albumen paper.

CDV - 26TH NEW YORK CAVALRY CO. E FRONTIER CAVALRY -
Photographer: Allen - 13 Winter Street (Boston). The 26th New York
Cavalry was mustered out of New York, Massachusetts and Vermont. This
obviously a member from Mass. (as is item I-43). Kepi sits on table and
with a glass you can clearly see 'E' and '26'. No name of soldier. CDV is in
good condition. There is a diagonal line on top left corner that is not a
crease but actually in the photo.

Patterson Co. B 49th Pa. Vol. Inf. - Wounded in Action at Spottsylvania
Court House May 10, 1864 having right arm amputated. Mustered out in
July, 1865 but not out of Hospital until Sept., 1865. Image in civilian
clothing and nice period ink ID on reverse. B/M Wm. Segar / Belleville /
Mifflin Co. / Pa. Image in Very Good Condition with only some corner
wear.

GROUP OF 4 CDV'S OF CIVIL WAR PERIOD WOMEN - See
additional images for better visual description . Two have
photographers backmarks and one has a tax stamp. Good
representation of what the women of the period were wearing at the
time. All in good condition.

AVE. AT GETTYSBURG - Webster & Albee,
Rochester, NY publishers of the monuments at
Gettysburg that include 94th NY, 16th ME, 107th
PA, 97th NY and the 83rd NY. (I only see 4
monuments in the photo) Contrast is a bit light
but in good condition.

Liberty. Someone during the period water colored the image and didn't
really do the best job. Original image is light & some coloring vivid as
