He was awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor for his heroics at Vicksburg and was wounded at both Fort Donelson and at Dallas, Georgia. He was again elected to Congress and was an unsuccessful Republican nominee for Vice President in 1884. Card is in good condition with just light soiling. |
