EARLY VIRGINIA VA-2D - Good early Virginia one piece VA-2D button made by 'Young, Smith & Co. - New York' which is embossed on reverse. Non-Dug - shows wear on most areas and was cleaned a while back although reverse shows a bit more aging. Excellent addition for the Southern State button collector.

U.S. MARINE CORPS MC-10D - 22mm  B/M - "EXTRA QUALITY"  with horizontal leaves - not vertical (this is a good Civil War B/M). Shows only minor wear - has several dark spots - otherwise VGC. This was in a group of 22 MC buttons, all same condition & B/M probably all came off the same coat. Others are listed on the page. Difficult buttons to obtain.

BERDAN SHARPSHOOTER'S BUTTON - CUFF - 15mm B/M "GOODYEAR'S P=T. N.R. CO." . Heavily worn on eagle, but in good condition,this button definately saw service. As the SS button above these are RARE. I have been fortunate enough to have come about three in the last year, the only 3 I've ever had and this is the only cuff I've had.

U.S. GENERAL STAFF - 22mm B/M "Waterbury Button CO. Extra" . Buttons were meant for the uniforms of Majors, Lt. Cols., Cols., & Generals. Very good condition with strong shank and the most minor of wear on high relief areas. Silver in the letters of the Backmark.
